IFSS works collaboratively to provide intervention strategies tailored to families with high and complex needs. IFSS works with families where there are risk factors present for children, young people, and their families, with the aim to minimise and prevent involvement with Child Safety Services.
IFSS provides prevention and early intervention strategies and services which promote children and young person’s wellbeing and safety by reducing and preventing child abuse and neglect. The Service promotes strong, functional, and well-supported families by building child, family and community capacity and resilience.
