Over two days in May the state’s Alcohol & Other Drugs sector came together for the biannual ATDC conference. The theme for 2018 was Shaping Our Future and attendees were informed, provoked and challenged about how we can best meet the needs of the community into the future.
YFCC staff in attendance relished the opportunity to increase knowledge and there were several highlights for us as an organisation:
- Lindsay Hodgkinson from our team was announced winner of the individual award for Excellence in Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drug work
- Nancy Thomas delivering a well-received workshop on New and Emerging Drugs
- Jess Riley delivering a workshop on the holistic work she is doing in regional and remote communities.
