Mission Australia – Disability Employment Services
At Mission Australia we provide various services from Disability Employment Services to Family Support, NDIS, Grandparents/Kinship Program and Parenting Programs.
We understand that the world of Employment Services can be daunting and stressful, so we endeavour to support our participants every step of the way. We value all of our participants, building meaningful connections with them and follow our Mission Australia values at all times, Respect, Perseverance, Compassion, Integrity and Celebration.
We offer support to people who have medical conditions, including but not limited to, mental health, intellectual disabilities, physical inabilities, and more.
We offer a range of personally tailored supports that may include (but are not limited to):
- Resume, cover letter and application development
- Individual goal setting and career guidance
- We offer incentives to employers
- Direct contact with employers in the interest of interviews, work trials and job carving.
- Interview preparation and techniques
At Mission Australia we believe a person’s circumstances shouldn’t define their future and given the right support; everyone can reach their full potential. That’s why we stand together with Australians in need, until they can stand for themselves.
We have offices in Devonport, Burnie, Launceston and Hobart and offer outreach services to Ulverstone, Queenstown, Smithton, Ravenswood and Berriedale.
