What you like about your role: I have only been to one meeting so far, but I am looking forward to being part of this wonderful organization. I am passionate about helping young people and seeing them thrive.
A bit about you: I am a single mother of two beautiful children; we also have two dogs, a cat and a guinea pig.
I worked in the building industry for 8 years before moving to Local Government 11 year ago. Whilst employed with Council I have worked in the building department and was the PA to the GM & Mayor. I then had my daughter and returned to a position in community services and found what I love, helping the Community, Events and Youth work. I currently run the Tulip Festival and look after all youth activities.
In my spare time I volunteer with the Wynyard Fire Brigade where I have been an active firefighter for 5 years, I also help train our junior fire cadets. I love escaping with a good book, bush walking, sunny days spent at the beach and spending time with family & friends.
