YFCC is seeking engaging and dedicated individuals with expertise in Youth and Housing Support Services to help drive positive outcomes for young people.

About the Role

As a Youth Coach, you will mentor and support young people, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Your role will include:

✔ Coaching and facilitating programs

✔ Strengthening family connections where possible

✔ Supporting transitions to stable living arrangements

These positions are based at three of our youth accommodation sites.

• Malana – Youth at Risk Centre in Launceston
• CASS Liprini – Youth Crisis Accommodation in Burnie
• CASS Devonport – Youth Crisis Accommodation in Devonport

Working collaboratively with community partners, we aim to improve youth wellbeing and provide tailored support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments
• Provide brief interventions, education, and information
• Offer supported referrals and outreach services
• Undertake case management
• Promote independent and healthy living skills

What You’ll Need

• Diploma in Community Services or an equivalent qualification
• Current Driver’s Licence
• National Police Check & Working with Vulnerable People Registration
• Availability for overnight and weekend shifts
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
