On Saturday the 15th of February YFCC Family Support team participated in Summer Fest 2025 organised by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre. Over 900 people were reported as attending, a great outcome for the event.
The Family Support Team ran a variety of activities including, badge making, plant pot decorating (including planting a sunflower to take home and grow), story time and plenty of goodies to take home. The event was a huge success despite the cold gusts of wind with some individual’s commenting “this stall is the cool one and others just have mum stuff”. The Family Support Team enjoyed their time and even got to hang out with the snakes and pat the blue tongue lizard.
