Helping Young Families Program – Family Support Team

What I like about my role: I enjoy the opportunity to work directly with parents and children and, hopefully, make a positive difference in their lives. I love being able to facilitate programs, build connections with families and support parents to achieve their own goals.

A bit about me: Originally a West Coast girl, I moved to Burnie for college and stayed here. My working life has been varied, spanning across office administration, book keeping, small business ownership, including a cleaning business and a surf store, community development, project work and most recently a leadership role at a Child and Family Learning Centre.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching my son play lawn bowls, spending quality time with family and friends, a good series binge watch, getting lost in a good book and eating out at every opportunity that presents.
