Name: Lisa Browne

YFCC Service Area: Family Support Services

Location: North-West (Devonport & Burnie)

What you like about your role: Seven weeks in, and I’m thrilled to be part of an organisation that creates such meaningful social impact across every program area. It’s not hard to feel uplifted coming to work each day, knowing the difference we’re making in peoples lives and the positive change we see unfolding in our community.

I feel privileged to be part of a team that genuinely cares, celebrates the small wins, and works together to achieve the best outcomes for the people we serve.

A bit about you: I’ve spent much of my career supporting teams and people through life’s ups and downs – from crisis support and case management to preventative programs and helping young people build on their strengths.

I’m passionate about creating genuine connections and finding practical ways to make a difference. I love working with teams that share the same heart for the community.

Outside of work, you’ll find me out with my camera capturing nature (novice, of course), bringing old furniture back to life, tackling any DIY project I can get my hands on, or simply enjoying a chai and good book.
