What do you like about your role? I’m enjoying working with the amazing young people and staff at Malana, and the amazing induction, training and support provided to prepare me for my new role. I’m really excited to be working again after a long break to raise my own children.
A bit about you: I have a background in Early Childhood and Community Services. For the past 12.5 years I have been a stay-at-home mum caring for my 3 children, who are now 22, and 12.5 (twins). Prior to having the twins in 2010 I was the Facilitator of a Child and Family Activity and Drop-in Centre with SHINE for Kids in Sydney, where I developed my passion and love of working in the Community Services sector and supporting young people and their families. It was a wonderful change after working in Child Care for 12 years. My husband, children and I moved to Tasmania in December 2016 and love our new life here, with the slower paced lifestyle and beautiful surroundings. My most favourite thing to do is listen to music and see live bands and concerts. In my spare time I enjoy sewing and craft.
