YFCC Service Area: Project Worker for Survival Strategies in the Kitchen

Length of time with YFCC: Nearly 3 weeks

What do you like about your role? So far I have met some awesome people who have been really welcoming and helping me settle in. I’m really looking forward to helping people feel confident enough to budget and create healthy and yummo meals for their family without breaking the bank. I also get to help eat the food after a work shop but that’s another story.

A bit about Roz: I’m a born and bred Burnie girl. I have a 13yo daughter who likes showing me what I was like as a teenager and a cat called Goo. My professional background mainly stems from Administration and training programs through a local call centre that I did for 15 years before making the decision to study a Diploma of Community Services. I’m easy going, love to laugh and some may say I’m a bit weird, but in a good way. Feel free to say hello if you see me. Looking forward to meeting more of you.
