I have been working with YFCC  for the last month, based in Devonport and Burnie.

I really enjoying working together with people within my role as a Community Voices Project Worker. I have a passion for working with people and feel privileged to be able to walk alongside them as part of their life journey.  Working with youth within my role is particularly special as I love being able to help make a positive difference within the life of a young person. I also work within the ARVOS Youth Worker role at YFCC which is also a fantastic role in supporting youth.

I enjoy camping, travelling, gardening, and cooking; and love being a wife and mother of our teen and adult children.

I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Social Work (Professional Honours) at UTAS, set to graduate in 2021. I am also currently employed as a tutor for the University of Tasmania – working with First Nations Peoples, as well as mentoring students. I have really found my passion for working with people through all of the above experiences.

I am very excited about my role within the Community Voices Project and look forward to working together with others through this fantastic initiative.
