National Child Protection Week: 3 – 9 September 2023

Our pledge: YFCC pledge to support parents, families, and communities with keeping children safe, while promoting the importance of children’s safety and wellbeing.

National Child Protection Week is an annual event starting on the first Sunday of September. The overarching message is “Every child, in every community, needs a fair go” which aims to spread the message that all of Australia’s children should be treated fairly, and we need to make sure every family and community has what kids need to thrive and be healthy. The 2023 theme being: ‘Where we start matters’, which encapsulates that where children start their lives including, where we live, resources available and opportunities presented to us, makes significant differences in our like outcomes.
