The theme for Mental Health Week this year was Stronger Together and YFCC was proud to demonstrate this theme by working with other local services to host Mentallect – a pop up event celebrating Mental Health Week. The expo featured local service providers who engaged attendees through a range of interactive stalls. The event focused on preventative things we can all do to look after our mental health. Also on show were a range of community based organisations such as RollerDerby NW Tas and The Quiet Cone.
Held at Providore Place, Devonport on Thursday October 11th between 1-3pm Mentallect saw a broad range of community members stroll through and enjoy some live music, gather some information and talk alcohol and drugs with the YFCC team. The event was coordinated in partnership with Advocacy Tasmania with funding from the Mental Health Council of Tasmania.
