During the month of March, YFCC in conjunction with Devonport City Council celebrated International Women’s Day (IWD).
This year’s theme for IWD was #Break the bias. We decided to do just that, by holding a free women’s learn to skateboard session with the Drop In Skate School in East Devonport. We had a broad range of ages in attendance and a fun afternoon learning new skills, pushing comfort zones followed by enjoying afternoon tea.
