Inspiring Youth Awards 2025

The annual Inspiring Youth Awards event were recently held at the Market Pavilion on October 8th, bringing together over 150 guests to recognise the incredible contributions of young people across the North West Coast of Tasmania. This special event shines a light on young people who often go unrecognised, yet make a real difference in their schools, families, and communities. With 40 nominations received — some young people even nominated more than once — the afternoon was filled with pride and celebration.

Awards were presented in three categories, and we congratulate the below winners:

Great Mate – Stanton Burtt

Quiet Achiever – Charlotte Hutchison

High Five – Caleb Scott

Guests enjoyed delicious catering by Bonne Bouche, uplifting music from Lauren Page, and an inspiring keynote speech from Nahani, a 19-year-old who bravely shared her journey overcoming challenges with substance use and youth justice. Nahani’s story of connection, resilience, and hope reminded everyone that positive change is always possible. It was a beautiful afternoon of celebration, recognising the amazing young people who make the North West Coast such a strong and caring community.
