On Wednesday 12th October about 90 community members joined us in Burnie to celebrate the 2022 Inspiring Youth Awards and recognise all the young nominees and winners. Attendees enjoyed guest speakers, a two-course meal, entertainment by local two-piece Ali and Fabian and of course, the awards presentation ceremony. It was really positive to hear all the contributions young people are making to our communities across Northwest Tasmania and to see how much they appreciated being recognised and celebrated. The following were the winners of the three categories:
WOW Award – Ghylbie Rose (Sheffield)
Great Mate – Austin Howard (Smithton)
Quiet Achiever – Aydan Hogan (Ridgley)
