This May, our Family Support team proudly hosted free cinema screenings in celebration of National Families Week 2025. Families in Burnie enjoyed the animated adventure Dog Man, while Devonport welcomed audiences to the ever-popular Minecraft movie.
The festivities didn’t stop at the screen! In Burnie, children were thrilled by face painting and balloon artistry brought to life by the talents of Fairy Tales and Pirate Sails. Over in Devonport, Caro’s Creative Crew dazzled families with vibrant face painting. Both events featured a variety of fun craft activities that kept little hands busy and imaginations flowing.
No celebration is complete without treats—families were treated to delicious snacks, chips, lollies, and refreshing drinks throughout the events.
We were delighted to see such a fantastic turnout of parents and children at both locations. The Family Support team has received heartfelt feedback expressing appreciation for these events and the opportunity to come together as a community.
