YFCC has an ongoing commitment to keeping all children and young people safe. Staff are continuously identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate changes through policy and procedure, to ensure that children, young people, families and the community remain safe.

‘Worker went above and beyond to ensure I felt heard and that my concerns were valid. She helped view things from a different perspective and also would reply to my texts even if we had just had a meeting, which made me feel as though she genuinely cared. She helped me make connections between what was going on in my personal life and how that was affecting my work and then gave me strategies. She also checked up on how my psychologist appointments were going and making sure I was still comfortable. Meetings with Worker never felt clinical her language often was relaxed making me feel safe and comfortable.’
