YFCC recently had the privilege of welcoming Her Excellency the Honourable Caroline Wells, Governor of Tasmania, and Dr Walters for a special visit.

As YFCC’s Patron, Her Excellency has demonstrated a genuine interest in the wellbeing of young people, families and communities across Tasmania.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share more about YFCC’s work and the positive impact our teams are making across the communities we serve.

Joined by YFCC Chair Sarah Steel and Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Team Leader Damian Collins, discussions focused on the challenges facing our communities, the importance of relationships and connection, particularly in rural areas, and the opportunities created when organisations, governments and communities work together.

YFCC sincerely thanks Her Excellency and Dr Walters for taking the time to visit and learn more about our services.

Their ongoing support and encouragement are greatly appreciated as we continue working towards stronger futures for the people and communities we serve.
