Helping parents navigate big feelings and everyday challenges

PARENTS and carers in Burnie are invited to join YFCC’s upcoming 1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching Parenting Program this September.

Delivered through YFCC’s Helping Young Families Program, the free three-session program will provide parents and carers with practical tools and strategies to help navigate some of the everyday challenges of raising children.

The sessions will explore ways to reduce tantrums, arguing and power struggles, set clear and calm boundaries without yelling, and create calmer routines at home.

Parents and carers will also learn strategies to strengthen their relationships with their children and help children better understand and manage big feelings and emotions.

The program is open to parents and carers in Burnie with children aged between two and 12 years.

Sessions will be held from 10am to 12pm on Wednesdays 16, 23 and 30 September at YFCC, 32 Marine Terrace Burnie.

There is no cost to participate, with morning tea also provided.

Bookings are essential.
