Positive feedback highlights impact of our services

Feedback from clients and community partners is so important to us.

We recently completed our six-monthly Client Evaluation and annual Stakeholder Evaluation, giving clients and partner organisations an opportunity to share their experiences and help inform the ongoing improvement of services.

The data showed the positive impact of our services and the strength of the organisation's relationships across the sector.

The client figures come from the May 2026 evaluation of 65 clients across YFCC service areas, while the stakeholder findings come from 70 responses to the annual survey.

The Client Evaluation showed strong levels of satisfaction and positive outcomes.

All respondents said they felt safe accessing our services and would recommend YFCC to others, while 97 per cent were satisfied with the services they received.

Importantly, 97 per cent also said they were now better able to deal with the issues they had sought assistance for.

The feedback provided a powerful insight into the experiences of clients and the difference support had made in their lives.

One client said they had "felt heard with no judgement" and received tools and strategies to help them cope and reach out for support.

Another said YFCC had provided "security and a safe space", while a participant in the Driver Mentor Program described going from a nervous driver to feeling confident and gaining their P plates.

Our annual Stakeholder Evaluation also received positive feedback from the organisations and services we work alongside.

Of the 70 stakeholders who responded, 96 per cent were satisfied with YFCC services, while 96 per cent said their collaborative relationship with YFCC was important to their own organisation.

YFCC staff were also rated highly, with 98 per cent of respondents providing positive feedback about professional conduct and 96 per cent agreeing staff reflected the organisation's values.

The feedback from both surveys will help YFCC continue to build on what is working well while identifying opportunities to further strengthen services, partnerships and outcomes for young people, families and communities.

We are striving to build a community where individuals and families have the opportunity to achieve their goals and to seek positive change and this feedback shows we are on the right track.
