Hardings Group backs young people as Inspiring Youth Awards Lead Sponsor

Hardings Group has been announced as the Lead Sponsor of YFCC's 2026 Inspiring Youth Awards, helping recognise and celebrate the everyday actions and achievements of young people across North West Tasmania.

The Inspiring Youth Awards provide an opportunity to shine a light on young people aged 13 to 18 who are making a positive difference in their communities, friendships, schools and families.

The awards include three categories: The Lowkey Legend Award, Quiet Achiever Award and The Great Mate Award.

YFCC CEO Roslyn Atkinson said the organisation was incredibly grateful for Hardings Group's support and belief in the potential of local young people.

"This partnership brings together two proud local organisations with a shared commitment to supporting positive outcomes for young people in our region," she said.

"Together, we will continue recognising and celebrating the achievements, resilience and contributions of local youth who inspire us all."

Hardings Group is a locally owned and operated Tasmanian specialist civil contracting and asphalt business based in Ulverstone.

Operating since 1986, the business employs more than 100 people and delivers major and minor works across Tasmania's water, sewerage, roads, urban, industrial construction and infrastructure sectors.

Hardings Group CEO Nic Broomhall said the business was proud to support the awards and help celebrate the contribution of young people across the region.

"We have a real opportunity to support positive outcomes for young people in our community, and that aligns strongly with our company values and the direction we are heading," he said.

"The Inspiring Youth Awards are a great fit for Hardings Group because they recognise young people who are showing kindness, resilience, leadership and care for others.

"As a local business, we believe it is important to support initiatives that strengthen our community and help young people see that their efforts and contributions are valued."

Nominations for the 2026 Inspiring Youth Awards open on 29 July and close on 26 August, with the Award Presentation Luncheon to be held on 7 October.

YFCC encourages community members, schools, services, sporting clubs and families to consider nominating a young person who deserves to be recognised.
