Youth Week Tasmania will see the return of a favourite Youth Week event with RANT arts bringing back Reclaim the Lane. Things will be a little different than previous years due to social distancing and contact tracing requirements. All the same ingredients will be on offer (art workshops, live music and a platform for Devonport’s young people to stand on) but instead of being packed into one very busy laneway for a few hours, the events and workshops will be spread across a number of venues in Devonport and throughout Youth Week (30th April – 7th May).
RANT arts will be working in partnership with Devonport City Council, Devonport Regional Gallery and YFCC to coordinate this relaunch of Reclaim the Lane with a view to bringing back the festival in it’s traditional form as part of Youth Week Tasmania 2022.
