This event occurs every two years and is across two days 25-26 May in Hobart. It is the only time where we manage to get people from all corners of Tasmania, across government and community sectors, as well as representatives from other related sectors in the same venue at the same time all talking about alcohol and other drugs.
The conference will provide streams linking policy, practice and research to strengthen our response to substance use at all levels. It will provide time to network with colleagues, to discuss the latest developments in ATOD, to learn and enhance your understanding of contemporary evidence-base approaches. A chance to challenge your practice, to rethink ways of doing what you do and to meet other professionals in a collegial and stimulating environment.
To be effective in our response to alcohol tobacco and other drug use, a multi-dimensional, collaborative approach is vital and this will be reflected in the conference program.
