Over the October School Holidays YFCC ran four exciting events for young people to engage in; Target Golf at the Forth Driving Range, a Clay Workshop with local artist Tara Felts, Ten Pin Bowling at the Devonport Bowl, and a Pasta Making Workshop with Chef Matt. Approximately 20 young people participated in each activity and all had a great time. These school holiday activities were organised to coincide with the Devonport Festival of Learning and Burnie Shines. School Holiday Programs provide young people with something to do, a chance to meet new friends, re-engage with old friends, and learn new skills.
YFCC offer activities for each block of school holidays. These activities are promoted through school newsletters and on our Facebook page. Keep an eye out for the Summer events.
All activities are provided at no cost to participants thanks to the Tasmanian State Government.
