As an organisation that offers a variety of services and programs to young people and children, we pride ourselves on making every possible effort to ensure young people and children are aware of their rights and feel safe when accessing our services.

We received the following quote from a client of our Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS) that demonstrates this:

“A child of a current IFSS family refuses to go to school or engage with other programs.  Last week the IFSS worker spent time with the child after collecting some work from her primary school, going over the work and building rapport with the child.  This week the father sent an SMS to the worker saying the child really liked the worker coming around and was happy she was coming again.  This is the most engagement the child has had with outside providers for the past 12 months.”
