We are seeking Youth Coaches to join our Crisis Accommodation Support Services team in Burnie and Devonport. We have both part-time and casual opportunities available for motivated individuals who are engaging, knowledgeable, and committed to youth and housing support services.

About the Role

As a Youth Coach, you will provide emergency accommodation, coaching, and support for young people aged 13-20 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting intake and assessments
  • Providing brief interventions, education, and information
  • Facilitating supported referrals
  • Undertaking case management
  • Promoting healthy and independent living skills

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Diploma in Community Services or an equivalent qualification
current Driver’s Licence
National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration
The ability to work overnight and weekend shifts
A willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
