Have an interest in short film or social issues? Have a mobile phone or recording device? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then we have something for you! You can have some fun, think about issues that affect people in your community and be in the running for a chance to win prizes for you and your School/College/Tas TAFE or Community Group.

YFCC are calling upon people aged between 12–24 across the state, who are at School/College/Tas TAFE or part of a Community Group to enter our 6th annual short film festival. This year, film makers will be asked to produce a short film (no more than 4 minutes duration) that explores the theme of Bullying including cyberbullying and successful strategies for addressing the issue. Films can be produced using phones, iPads, iPods, or video cameras etc.

Participants must lodge their signed registration and consent forms by 5pm, Friday, 7th July, 2017.  Films however do not need to be submitted until Friday, 25th August, 2017 along with completed survey forms (one for each participant).

The top 6 films in each category will be shown at CMAX Cinemas on Monday, 25th September 2017.
